Hello Herb,

IT tickets are spamming my email and some of them are duplicates whenever
we change the status of each ticket. Are you able to minimize email going
to my email address?

The best way to combat this is to update each ticket on the redmine
website, not by email.

Coast Builders doesn't have a proper email server that is accessible by
outside applications outside of Google (including redmine) . CB also
doesn't have a proper LDAP or active directory server.

Having these three components would allow redmine to scan each email going
through and automatically weed out duplicates or updates to the ticket sent
by email and to handle user accounts properly. Unfortunately, CB is not in
a position at this time to deploy or administer these solutions. Tim, I
highly recommend doing so at some point in the future to increase overall
security and functionality for CB users.

Until then, please continue to have people submit tickets via email. IT
team members should submit their responses via the redmine interface only.
