Ok. V3 Wyze cams have been ordered. You should be receiving them on or
around March 8th.

Hello Herb,

I will need at least 6 Wyze cams to replace the one that are not working.

Thank you

Hello All:

I managed to snag a G4 Camera directly from Ubiquiti as their cameras
have been out of stock for several weeks now. It should be coming into the
office soon.

In the meantime, do you want me to order more Wyze V3 Cameras to replace
the ones that aren't working? If so, how many?

Sincerely,

Herb Cruz

Dome cams are harder to steal but requires a network jack at point of
installation. Can we arrange for this or shall we go with the wifi camera?

Approved, as long as it improves functionality.

Thx

179 + tax for dome (but requires an Ethernet drop for it to work)

99 + tax for regular camera (wall mounted, wifi)

Hello John,

Please authorize one Ubiquiti dome for testing.

Thank you

Ubiquity domes work very well.

The bonus is that we can set them up to record to a hard drive
without the limitations of the clips wyze has. We have the software ready
to go through the wifi access points.

Shall I order one for testing purposes?

Hello Herbert,

Thank you for letting me know. I will replace some of them with
new ones. As some of the cameras are dead even if I reboot or factory reset
them.

Also, I will need a secure camera outside of warehouse# 3. I
installed 2 wyze cams there and it got stolen. Are you able to sort out
what is the best camera to install? Something that cannot be removed
easily. Probably the Ubiquiti dome works?

Thank you

First I heard of the issues regarding Gibsons.

JB you may also want to check to see if the missing footage is
on the Cam plus cloud recordings.

All Gibsons cameras are constantly down?

Hard to say.

The most important thing about these cameras is to ensure
that they are all updated to the latest firmware. If they get too far
behind they get buggy.

If you ever see a camera with old firmware upgrade it right
away. Or select a schedule on when you can upgrade them on a regular basis.

If you start to see them continually failing at recording,
replace the SD card with a new one. If they are still failing, replace the
camera.

Wyzecams are easy and inexpensive to replace. If you find
though that they fail too much as a whole, you may consider getting
ubiquiti cameras. More expensive, but more reliable and compatible with the
wifi system you have in the stores.

Let me know if you would like to try this route and I can
order a camera or two for testing purposes.

Hello Herb,

There are instances that the Wyze camera doesn't record even
though there is an SD card inserted. This missed some of the critical
footage we needed. Any ideas why this is happening?
